ST. GEORGE MARITIME DAY 2010The St. George Community Sailing Foundation will be holding its EIGHTH ANNUAL MARITIME DAY on Saturday July 25th, 2009 in Tenants Harbor. Registration begins at 1000 hours at the Tenants Harbor public landing for the Row and Paddle Rally at 1100. This will consist of a 1.5 mile short course for canoes, kayaks, and rowing boats. Following the rally, at 1200 hours, participants can enjoy lunch together at Cod End, the fish market and restaurant next to the public landing. In the afternoon sailing races for small boats (under twenty feet) will be conducted at the entrance to the harbor from 1400 to 1600. There will be an "Awards Ceremony" with refreshments at the small ball field next to the Tenants Harbor public landing at 1700. 2010 OPEN HOUSEThe Foundation will hold its annual open house at Blueberry Cove Camp on Friday August 12, 2010 from 1430 to 1630.
