ST. GEORGE MARITIME DAY 2009The St. George Community Sailing Foundation will be holding its SEVENTH ANNUAL MARITIME DAY on Saturday July 25th, 2009 in Tenants Harbor. Registration begins at 1000 hours at the Tenants Harbor public landing for the Row and Paddle Rally at 1100. This will consist of a 1.5 mile short course for canoes, kayaks, and rowing boats. Following the rally, participants can enjoy lunch together at Cod End, the fish market and restaurant next to the public landing. In the afternoon sailing races for small boats (under twenty feet) will be conducted at the entrance to the harbor from 1400 to 1600.. There will be an "Awards Ceremony" with refreshments at the small ball field next to the Tenants Harbor public landing at 1700. 2009 OPEN HOUSEThe Foundation will hold its annual open house at Blueberry Cove Camp on Friday August 13, 2009 at 1330.
